Does that make sense? Haha. Those closest to me know the struggle I have when it comes to waking up early. Maybe you’re the same. But one can’t deny, there’s something about waking up just as the sun begins to peak, breaking through the horizon. Witnessing as the sky changes color, light piercing through the darkness of nighttime – a new day has come.
The name Daybreak Dew was created with that premise in mind: Everyday is another opportunity to live, grow, and love. In the Bible, dew fell with the manna – the source of sustenance God provided to the Israelites as they traveled through the wilderness. It was also a symbol that God would provide everything they needed (Numbers 11). As I go through life, I want to daily remind myself that everything I need to live, grow, and love, I have already. I want to cultivate the field that I’m already planted in, learn new things, try new or long-forgotten activities, maybe even (try to) wake up early on the regular. With this blog, I hope to inspire you to do the same – no matter what stage in life you find yourself in.
I’m so happy you’re here!
I’m a homebody by nature, so you’d mostly find me at home working, cooking, and relaxing. My wonderful husband and I have just passed our one year wedding anniversary – and I’m loving this new stage in life!
I was raised by parents as a Christian but truly developed my faith around the age of 12. Through life’s challenges, the ups and downs, the one thing I can be absolutely certain of is God’s faithfulness and love towards us is steadfast – He’s the only reason why I’m here today. I love Jesus! I’m grateful and love my parents and family for their influence in my walk of faith.
I also love to write, exercise, and occasionally draw and paint. I’ve also developed a newly found love for the mountains, after visiting the Rocky Mountains on the east side of Canada. Oh yeah, I also like K-pop.
